 Post subject: Planetary shields

Just a general question, what is the purpose of the planetary shield? When it is up the enemy is still able to bombard a planet, so is it only a passive damage reduction to bombardments?

Passive damage reduction. Come to think of it, making the planet invulnerable isn't a bad idea. Thanks for the idea!

This idea has been implemented in the beta in a recent revision; will be in the next full version.
