Hey, long time lurker here.

First of all, is this mod still going? Or is it time I ponied up and bought SOSE?
Secondly, I just want to complain. when I first downloaded 0.6, I loaded it up and was kinda shocked by it. 0.45 was great, decentish balance, tooltips told you what you were in for, tech tree kept the game at a decent pace.
Where'd the tech tree go? Are the ships less shooty? how do you find out without tooltips?

Basically all the ships were overhauled due to performance issues. Among other things, the shield meshes caused a lot of slowdown calculating collisions. Thus much of it needed to be redone.

There are more planned updates, but its been slow. I wouldn't expect anything soon.

Glad to hear this mod still goes on, regardless of the pace. I guess I'll just stick with 4.5 til something shinier comes along.
