Team Gizka Restoration Project

Recommended Posts

For those of you who don't know, Team Gizka is a project team that's been around for a couple of years now, restoring all of the data cut from KOTOR II. this is their current status so far as fixing everything up goes. Soon all will be complete, and the game will finally include lots more of the cut content that was originally to be featured. Yay! Enjoy, folks!

They're down to 24 bugs rather than 25, now! Yay!

Edit:... And now they're somehow up to 27. What the heck?

I've played both games several times. Yesterday my girlfriend bought me them as a suprise, so now I have the original games! (you don't know how this sounds in Hungary :D )

I play them every year since they came out, and this "mod" is really promising. I will wait for a 1.1 or 1.2 though :)

Oh, hey, they fixed five bugs in the system! Sweet! Now there are just 22 to go... Those five only took about a month or two. :roll: This should be finished by the time I graduate from High School and have no time for video games anymore!

Actually, I found I had more time for video games after high school. High school is nuts, with the 7-2 (approximately, since all schools are different), then the after school activities (martial arts and the rifle club for me), then work (homework and a job)...it just leaves little down time. Or at least for me it did. Once I started college, I actually had more time on my hands...

Yeesh, these guys must all have lives or something! :lol: They have eighteen bugs, now- their production levels are lower than the Reloaded team's on New Years (No offense meant to the marvelous Reloaded team or Team Gizka)

I've lost faith in the project. I'm playing my bug-tastic version of KOTOR I (it keeps booting me off after about forty-five minutes of play, which is probably healthy... or would be if I didn't just restart the program after those forty-five minutes of play are up), and I'm selling KOTOR II online if somebody wants to buy it. KOTOR II failed to impress rather spectacularly. Decent game, but it was like most sequels are- The Name of the First One II: The Quest for More Money!

TSLRP is dead, but TSLRCM came through, in case nobody noticed yet.

Also, why does that pile of **** that is Empire at War have its own forum while Kotor is lumped with "old games nobody plays" :P

This wasn't a decision based on how popular the game was. These forums were created at various times, for the most part haven't changed in the last few years

KOTOR = 2003

Empire at War = 2006

Technically EAW should be grouped under "Old Star Wars games..." but we haven't been bothered to do so.
