Post subject:  Galactic Battlegrounds-Imperial Mods

Ok, interesting game, but the Galactic Empire were sure as hell short changed when it came their buildings, they look dreadfull! Sort of like lumps of Soviet era blocks of ugliness in comparison to the cool buildings the rebels get. The rebel Advanced Turret is a work of true beauty. My AT-ATs very reluctantly blow these works of true art to slag.

So, does anybody know if there is a way, or a mod, that enables the glorious Galactic Empire to build it's buildings along the rebel's tech tree/appearance wise?

Please help, looking at my Imperial bases' is beginning to make me feel depressed. :?

By using the game's editor, you can completely smash the population-limit restrictions! I can start a game with 400 units without a crash!

I love this game - do you have the clone campaigns expansion? I want to play online again sometime.

GET IT! Is is an improvement on the first in many ways. Plus it would now cost next to nothing to buy. So you have no excuse. :D

Yeah, shortly after they released the expansion, they pulled it and started selling a bundle of the battlegrounds+clone wars.

Wilko! :)

Gosh i'm having fun with the editor! I'm currently playing as Imperial with 522 units, whilst building buildings that are Allaince (*addresses original post*), with a few lovely Naboo buildings starting on my side... what a lovely editor. Plus my AT-AT's have added hit points, though I haven't figured out the triiger for attack...

Heh, I think the Imperial buildings are some of the coolest. :)

I love GB, I played online with a friend almost every night until he started university. :(

If anyone ever wants to play RM, just let me know. AIM is Vermuden.

If you like Battlegrounds then this is the site you need to see. swgb.heavengames.com. They have thousands of Mods, Campaigns, and scenarios.

Emm... the site's a bit esoteric. Apparently the main mod for making anything work is on a Korean server that is always down when I try to download it. Plus nothing i've downloaded comes with a help file... :?

Go to the utility section and download the mod manager, then download some mods and install them with it. .sc1's go into the Scenario foler, .cp1s into the Campaigns, and MP3s into the Sound/Scenario folder.

Top man! Appreciate efforts. :)

Sadly, this doesn't work on my PC, as i've seen reported on that site. I've tried numerous times, long before you picked-up on this thread. :(
