Well, not that there is actually any one browsing this forum, but LEC released a preliminary patch that will upgrade Battlefront to v1.00a. There are only minor changes in this one, mainly changes to multiplayer and it's branches. Grab it at SWBATTLEFRONT.NET.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

Fortunately Battlefront is through GameSpy, so that isn't as much of a problem. If LA keeps putting out patches at this speed, it shouldn't be long before all the problems are fixed (I haven't found any yet, but they're supposedly there).

Well, it's possible to beat it in a day... if you are playing on easy... and for an extended period of time... the game is focused on multiplayer anyhow.

It's not a big update. It only makes changes to the server browser (apparently), and other minor aspects of multiplayer. Still waiting for a big patch.

Like most of these kind of games there is a solo mode where you play against the computer. You could call this mode training since you use it to train for the multiplayer. The AI is quite... beatable, i normally do around 45 frags in one game. For thos wondering. I have NOT bought the game but got a xbox demo with the trilogy dvd pack.
