I have a geforce 3 card but an AMD Duron 800mhz.

 

I am hoping santa will bring me an AMD Athlon XP 2000+

I recently got a good deal on a Geforce 3Ti 200 and I still have the normal Athlon 1300 I bought about 1 and a half years ago.

My processor is the only bottleneck in my machine. Once it gets replaced i will be ready for whatever Doom 3 can throw at me.............hopefully.

 

From what i hear i am going to need new underwear every time i play...............that could be expensive.

So the fact that i've got a rubbish little Kryo II nVidia or Vivid XS (I can't remember which) isn't going to be a problem?

Not to sure, you will just have to try it and find out. I still haven't found a decent emulator yet. If you manage to get your hands on one then i would be greatful of the URL

Haven't found one yet, but i'm looking. Played Outcast on th xbox the other day. Not as good as the pc version, although i do like the movies and the gallery, but the pc still wins hands down in terms of playability.

Personally, I understand why they are releasing games mostly for the console now.. Console games - they are accessible to anyone, and it seems to me that more households in the U.S. has one (or more) than a PC.

 

Ah, well, you might not realize why I am saying this, but I'm disappointed that LEC stopped releasing all these games for the PC (such as bounty hunter).

Console games just sell better... or maybe they don't advertise the PC Games!

 

I mean really... why do they advertise the console games on TV, but not the PC games? Example: MoHAA - I saw it advertised for the console.

 

Ah, well, bounty hunter doesn't look all that great anyways... If someone just makes some nice maps using the Jedi Plus bounty hunter model/jetpack, that could be the whole game - .
