The 50 mb download requirement put me off a while ago... :roll:

Call me brain-disfunctional, but how come I can chat away with members here on msn without a 50mb download requirement? As usual, confussed... :?

Of course you could just mIRC or any number of IRC clients...
Web-based is designed to be easy for those that have Java installed already. It was already installed in previous versions of Windows

The chatroom seems to be working for me. Maybe it was temporarily down
