Definitely looking for feedback.. esp with some of the changes integrating PFF. We want to build a successful site for the future, which means we will start archiving things and changing them around.

Any ideas or comments, feel free to post them

I'm glad things are back up also, but "back to normal"? I don't know.

So, are all comments made from EaW and PFF (the red and green screen forums) always going to show up as new posts when I'm trying to read the Rebellion (blue) forums? Not to knock anyone, but I just don't care about those forums. I'm sure they're nice people and all, but I don't have the games or interest, so why waste my time reading that stuff. Maybe I'm just an ol' fogey stuck in his ways ... Oh, what'd you know, I am! Maybe there should be a "higher level" login screen to you can enter whatever forums you want, and skip those you don't

Nice to see familar names back onsite :D

@E: When you going to put my New Galaxy Config file in DOWNLOADS?

Not that it needs to or anything.

Yea sadly there isn't a "New posts per category" page. Sorry.

I'll get to your downloads as soon as I finish with the rest of the server changes.

And if you want your project hosted here, you just have to ask. :)

I also am glad to have the forums back, like already mentioned yesterday in the chatroom. I like those pictures added to each subforum, although those lotta links at one of those subforums looks pretty weird IMO. Dont know whats it all about, but anyway.

Just tried if its finally possible again to upload custom-cards for our all beloved Rebellion, but its still not working. Are there any future plans to solve that problem?

BTW thanks for your hard work, guys. Its much appreciating. Your doing a lot for the community in providing these forums. :)

The forum text looks a lot bigger. Like, not the actual posts, but the topics on the forums themselves.

I like it.

I noticed a problem today with the "pull down menus" at the top of the screen.

First the "normal" view: ImageImage

When my cursor "floats" over the REBELLION tab, this happens: ImageImage

And finally, when my cursor "floats" over the REBED tab, this happens: ImageImage

If I "slide" my cursor over RebEd, then the screen "flashes" as the pull down menu is drawn/erased very quickly. I haven't had this problem before, just thought it might be something "new" that's going down; just an FYI :?

(if it matters I'm running XP Pro & IE 7  )

UPDATE: I just noticed that if I "click" on the pull down menu anyway, the next time I move my cursor over it, it doesn't happen anymore :?

Yea I think its weird that different browsers set the widths differently. It looks slightly different on Firefox and IE. I can't find a good fix that will work in all situations.

I logged in using a different computer ... same results: messed up menus :? I guess I'll just click on them anyway so the problem goes away.

UPDATE: Interestingly enough, after posting the previous message, the problem did NOT occur when I was in the FORUMS thread, but as soon as I clicked HOME and got to the main screen: messed up menus :?

Hey E, I just realized that our post counts are...inaccurate.

I had my 3000th quite some time ago, and now I only have 3003. What made me realize this was when I saw Mad talking about his 8000th, but his posts only say 7990.

Edit:

Also, I cant change my sig. Whenever I add to it, my old one remains there. The updated one remains in the "My Info" page, but does not appear attached to my posts.

Good observation Rob! It was fine earlier today when I posted (becaused I did check Mad's post count, which was 8000+). Also, I made a change to my sig as well, with no apparent change either :?
