Small LotGH Conversion - Name Lengths

Greetings everyone. After recently watching one of the very few interesting Anime series in existance, named "Legend of the Galactic Heroes", I have decided to edit Rebellion to incorporate characters and ships from that series. However, I have met with possibly the single most common problem to newbies editing Rebellion: String length. Is it possible to lengthen the number of available characters for unit names? If there was any possibility this could be done, I would appreciate any help in that.

Use Resource Hacker to change the names, you'll actually have to do this in a couple of places (regular name, Admiral name, General name, Commander name).
