Somebody want to fill in the stuff on Multiplayer? I don't know how to get it to run... I figured I'd try sometime next week to get a game or two in... Just checking- can you modify a game (IE the stats on everything) and still have a multiplayer game if both people have the same mod in place?

Sadly I know very little about editing a Wiki and don't want to to go and create the multiplayer page just for it to look like junk and have all of one thing on it, namely this:

Yes, you can indeed have a multiplayer game with modified stats, so long as both players have the same data. I don't know about models and such, though.

Yea this earlier Mediawiki version did not have an easy way to do that.

I am going to update it when I get the time and play with the settings

As long as both players have the same data then you can play multiplayer. However if you have different models then it doesnt work and the game crashes when it attempts to go into a space battle. Presumably if you never get into combat then you can play with different models, but what would be the point?

ATA! A 2 year, 3 month sabbatical. It's good to see you back for a visit! What's been happening since you were last here?

That is a good point to mention: with RebEd it is quite easy to make changes to the game and forget about them, then try to play a Multiplayer game only to have it crash. All files must be identical to have a flawless engagement (software wise that is).

Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?

Hey Tex! Yeah its been a while. I'm in Law School now so I haven't had time for fun, plus after I finished my TC back in '06 I was kind of burned out with the game (imagine trying to do something akin to Reloaded all by yourself!). I came back because I got an email out of the blue from someone asking how to do my quick-fix DLL replacements. I've forgotten how to do anything with Rebellion, but it made me miss the old forums and how helpful you all were. Thought I'd drop in to say hi.

As for the wiki, great job Mad! This is a game that is in need of documentation since its hard to find info on it.

This is making me miss Rebellion  Maybe its time for a reinstall.....
