Although i have been playing SWR since it came out I have been hopeful there would be someone who had cracked the code and did an upgrade mod for all the shipmodels so it would look more like the game as it was orginally sold as and not the early type Atari style ships. I have seen it done with SEIV, SEV, and StarTrek BOTF. Anybody done such a mod yet? or is it as i see in the 2006 files still a do it yourself one at a time job? Not sure how it would work with new new OS systems. thanks!!! PS: This is one of the finest space strategy games out there still. If only the space battles had been done it more advanced and available at the time graphics! |
