This is for those playing or interested in the RPG Rapora War, as per request I'm currently working on an encyclopedia for the game, any comments, requests or questions are welcome, remember this is a work in progress. :twisted:

Actually I haven't added a lot of stuff yet... The Mandalorian Cruiser, The Vagaari under species, the Aklasp vessels, lots of GFFA and Imperial equipment, the hybrid Raporan starship, the hybrid Mandalor/GFFA/UDA starship I'm working on, the advanced droid fighters Hirotek used at Kuat.

It's amazing how much we created. 8)

Question time!

Do this guys breath?

Do this guys emit strong heat radiation? Drying out ambient humidity that'd make the Rapora not want to be too close to them?

Are their eyes, joints and mouth any more vulnerable than the rest of their bodies?

I'll take their blood is somekind of dangerous acid (à la Alien).

It's fewer of them, than there's Rapora, right?

Forcesensitivity?

Melee weapon? Or do they just spit acid and attack with claws?

How fast are they? at 900kg I wouldn't think of them as fast creatures.

How do their bodies react to lightsabers? :wink:

Yes, they breath, their bodies require an unusual amount of oxygen in fact, but without oxygen they can survive for a short peroid of time before going into a comotose like state.

Yes they do emit a lot of heat radiation, equivalent to standing next to a furnace that melts metal. I believe in one of my posts I showed Darth Avarice having trouble being around them because of the amount of heat they gave off. Their armor is often times scaldingly hot and I wrote that they melted and warped the floor of a Raporan warship just by walking across it.

If you're saying blaster fire, the answer is no. Blasters release heat, and Aklasp like heat. If you're saying shrapnel or a thrown spear the answer is yes. The melting of a colder metal would lower their body temperature and render them comotose.

Actually no its not, its superheated liquid metal which is even more dangerous to organics.

Yes there are fewer of them, but each one is immensly old and experienced. They're also very hard to kill.

I forgot that didn't I? In truth they have little need for a melee weapon but they do have. Imagine a lightsaber that cut not by infusing heat but by taking it away. A lightsaber that chilled objects until they shattered. Well thats my concept for their personal melee weapon.

Considering that the Si-O chemical union is solid mineral, and their blood being melted metal. I wouldn't see the need of it. (I had thought they died in space, because of freezing).

Gorathian Interception Corvette

SM you will have to explain to me how to give stats to the ship

Armament:
4 Heavy Turbolaser Turrets
10 quad-laser turrets
1 concussion missile launcher

Crew: 80 men

Developped in the Secret Gorath facility as a patrol and fighter support ship, the Interception corvette boost some amazing offensive cappacities for a ship of its size. Its four Heavy turbolaser turrets have boosted targeting computers who allow them to target small and fast moving targets such as ships such as ties who would normally evade such defenses.
The Corvette is also equipped with ten quad laser turrets and a missile launcher who increase even more its anti-fighter capacities.
A new kind of generator was specially developped by the gorathian scientist to power the massive reactors of the ship and to provide the massive amount of energy necessary to the ship's armament.
The latest generation of ships have also been equipped with an experimental cloaking device.

I will make 3d model of the ship if you need it for a card SM.
I will also make the descriptions for the characters tomorrow.

Okay Mad, here's the format for Starships:

The ship's name...

Freedom Sword Class Light Cruiser

The ship's description...

The Freedom Sword class Light Cruiser is the UDA's reply to the Raporan Savla, fast and maneuverable; she can run circles around larger vessels. Her durasteel and neutronium hull can withstand most energy weapons quite well including medium and light plasma fire. She is the sword of the UDA's fleet hitting hard and fast.

The ship's basic statistics. I use the official Lucasarts values for these, SBD, RU, MGLT, and DPF for Shields, Hull, Speed, and Maneuverability respectively. I'll post some numbers for known vessels from the Star Wars universe for comparison.

Shields: 4800 SBDs
Hulls: 960 RUs
Speed: 70 MGLTs
Maneuverability: 24 DPF


Next is rather obvious, the armament of the vessel.

Armament:
12 Heavy Turbolasers
18 Turbolasers
14 Ion Cannons
4 Heavy Torpedo Launchers
12 Plasma Missile Launchers
26 Chiss Batteries (Equal in damage to a heavy Laser Cannon)
12 Anti-starfighter Laser Cannons (Rate of fire equal to that of the Falcon's defense cannons)


After that is the number of crew.

Crew:
800


After that is a breakdown of the standard troop compliment aboard ship, we'll ignore this for now because I'm working on a different manner to detailing what troops are on a vessel.

Finally is a listing of special abilities for the vessel, this can be none to a wide range of special abilities.

Special Features:
A Phase Cloak enabling the vessel to disappear from all sensors and allow matter to pass through the ship, without any real effect.

Strategic placement of Yslamiri around weapons systems and critical areas to deny Rapora the ability to target or dodge those systems very easily

A Shield Monitoring Sensor which allows the vessel to discover the exact frequency of an opponents shields and fire through them unhindered. (It often takes nearly a minute of combat for the sensor to find the shield modulation, and it can be countered by switching modulations.


For clarity here's the statistics for a Imperial Star Destroyer, and a Corellian Corvette during the Galactic Civil War.

Imperial Star Destroyer:
Shields: 4800 SBDs
Hull: 2288 RUs
Speed: 11 MGLTs
Maneuverability: 5 DPF

Corellian Corvette:
Shields: 400 SBDs
Hull: 192 RUs
Speed: 22 MGLTs
Maneuverability: 10 DPF

Those are stats I never fully understood. I know they are from XWA or some other source, but like the length of the SSD I find them hardly believable. For example ship speed, during the escape of Hoth one SD kept close enough to the Falcon, before Solo maneuvered the pursuing SD into a near collision course.

I somehow don't buy in those speed stats, that were possibly just made up to balance gameplay in flightsims. (Those XWA SDs were way to easy to kill).
