The Journal of Ron Connery...The Webcomic

Now this is no way whatsoever in competition with Tofu or anything, but after seeing the craptastic art of C&H, I realized that the art is not the most important thing...it's the comic itself. Thus, using very crappy Paint graphics, I have begun a webcomic series titled simply "The Journal of Ron Connery" (named after my website). I hope you all enjoy my premere comic.

... And ultimately not really worth the wait. It sucked. It was terrible. I actually gouged my eyes out after reading it was so bad.

 

 

 

 

And yet it was still better than half of my comics.... J/K. It wasn't nearly that good.

 

PS: It would really help if you could read what they were saying more easily. Oh, and I was just screwing with you- it's kinda funny.

Nice start Rob... Makes me think i should get back to making the Palpsi Wars series... They have been lying in wait for quite some time.

I loved to make comics with a pen some long long time ago. They had a rather thin story, but they had lots of action. Maybe I should try it again. Or maybe rather not.

What? Who said that? And why do they have to be speaking the truth? Dammit!

I sent it to my friends and such, and noone really got it. What I was poking fun at was the fact that a PHD earns you the title of Doctor, even if you study in Math, History, Literature, etc. and not medical stuff. For example, I think most college professors in the US have PHDs, thus they are all Dr., not Mr. or Ms. or Prof. Then I just wanted to poke more fun at the lame-os who go to school and spend time and money to become cryptozoologists in college and whatnot.

 

My next idea is to poke fun at the power-hungry Hillary Clinton (she has it coming).

I started writing a comic about Lylat Wars a long time ago but never got far with it.

I have my second comic. I feel it is funnier, and is more general in its humor. What I will do is post a link to each one I do in my original post, than make a new post to alert all that I have a new one out. This way it is easier to find each new comic. Enjoy all!

I had showed my friend both comics, and he liked the second one alot better.

I will try to stay on that mindset for future works.

Ah. So you do... Odd that it took forever to load. *Shrugs* So, good to see that you've discovered how to copy and paste characters into new comics

 

BTW: It's spelled "Premiere," mate. Check your first post.

Thanks for the spelling lesson. And yeah, I basicly have one paint file that has all the characters on it. I just copy and paste them onto the new comic, and then erase a limb or some eyes to either move them around or show expression.

How do you think I make my comics, Rob? All that ever changes is the position of a limb or of an eye or an eyebrow. Or maybe a beard if I want to be oldish. I may start growing a goatee in my next comic...

I felt that if I had my way, and could exact revenge however I felt, that would be it. To sick a pet Sasquatch on the deuche.
