My university management class has us working in teams on various charity projects this semester. My team is collecting pens, pencils, and paper supplies(loose leaf or spiral bounds) to be sent to technical school students in Mali, Africa. Basically, I am the closest thing to a graphic designer in the group, which I am not that good aside from image cropping and counter strike sprays. I am looking for good free to use paper, pen, pencil icons I could combine into a logo with the text "Mali" layered across the front. Any links to free to use icons (not those with lines through them samples) or anybody that wants to submit a complete graphic would be appreciated. Looking for a 128x128 px image for distribution on charity request letters to manufactures, businesses, churches, etc. Perhaps a larger 256x256 for posters and larger media. Rather than specific elements just think of theme of "basic school materials" to be represent by the imagery, so pencil, pen, writing on paper, etc... I'm not too specific. This'll allow it to work with most colour schemes. If you've got someone with photoshop you can also do simple things like invert the colours if need be or change the black to ... whatever you want . I should point out, I'm planning on adding led to the pencil, the text as well as making the pencil "chubby".
