AVG Free and Ad Aware are great choices. With these, i havent had a virus on my otherwise unprotected comp in years.

Or at least it couldn´t find the virus. ;)

Some prefer Bitdefender.

Who cares at all?!

I've noticed that AVG Free Anti-Spyware 7.5 is now available. I don't know if that is a new product that I overlooked or not, but I have been a long time user of AVG Free Anti-Virus and love it. Much lower system resource consumption than the competition and has all the features you need for free.
