1602 AD

I know the game's been out forever, but does anyone else play 1602 A.D.? Outside the US, it is called Anno 1602.

I hate to say it, but I've gotten kind of addicted to it. It's sort of like Civilization, but the competitors don't start screwing with you right away, giving you a chance to build a decent city. Plus, I just like cannons blazing on the high seas! I have a bit of a pirate in me, I suppose. Shiver me timbers!

Sky! Nice to see you again!

I'm one of those weirdos that has never played MOO. One day, I shall gain the knowledge of the masters who play MOO.

Hmm...I kinda sound like a cow. MOOOOOOOOO!

I'd rather have that Mercury weather, than all the rain and wind that's currently marking my way from the parking zone to the university...

To the best of my knowledge Anno was created by a German company named Sunflowers and it came out about 5 years ago. That was the time when I had the choice of joining the armed forces or civil service for a year.

Oh yeah, and according to my games-mag the sequel Anno 1503 (respective 1503 A.D.) should be in stores at the end of Oct. I saw previews on the mag's DVD, sweeeet.

mask: Excellent! More New Worlds to conquer for the crown!

Sky: Yes, now if we can just catch that damned sniper, things could settle down in our fair Commonwealth! Oh, and maybe if we could get a little more rain...

Yes that crazed sniper has unfortunately now made his way into the area where I live in VA, Fairfax County...in all honesty I would rather take the hot weather than the rain as well..

PC Gamer said MOO3 was now outdated by today's standards. For example, all of the interface was just text.

I wouldn't usually complain.. but they are giving 1990-era war games good scores!!! (You know what I'm talking 'bout!)

Sky: Keep your head down, bud. I have a friend who works in the Uniformed Secret Service up there, too. Dangerous times.

Igor: I hate to say it, but I would rather have a good, user-friendly play system and fewer bells and whistles. Look at Rebellion...the game is outdated, but we still love it! Sometimes they ruin games with too much fluff and not enough substance.

Havn't seen it anywhere yet. Got CIV III though, and that's pretty good.
