Talk about what you think of Shattered Space and Star Trek vs Star Wars in general. No flaming, I've tried to be fair with my portrayal by giving both sides advanatages.

*bows before the writing abililty of Stellar*

very nice, very nice indeed. I especially like how you included the Ferengi, a much ignored race in the ST universe.

Seven bars of Latinum says the Ferengi try to profit from all of this, and get vaped for their efforts.

 I want to place an order for some Battlestar Gallactica fanfic? What do you think? Or at least ... could they jump inside your story too ?! Maybe some SG-1 ships too ....

 Loll - its time to go big - REALLY BIG!

After a long sabbatical I'm back... and working on more ST vs. SW fanfiction... so I figured I'd post in here...

Sorry Cain but I think two universes are enough any more and it gets crazy.

Just over two years 8O Welcome back SM! I can't wait to see what updates you have in mind. You don't know how tempted I've been over the last couple of years to hijack your thread and continue on without you. Good thing I have lots of patience (more than likely I just forgot in a moment of senilality :D ). What have you been doing out there in the "unknown regions"? Glad to see you back, stick around awhile this time; I know nothing is ever exactly the same, but we all get used to it eventually.

Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?

Does this mean you people are going to expect me to come back and start writing again?

Also, Welcome back Stellar.

But of course BS! Now to complete the "missing authors" quest all we have to do is get Def back onto his New Sith Order story. Then all three of our forgotten tales can continue :P

Lol... Yeah, lets bring back all our literary pursuits.

Anyway, Ferengi have replicators.

Ferengi sell replicators to the Trade Federation.

Trade Federation uses replicators to build more replicators... and battle droids.

As if Battle droids weren't considered expendable already. (Replicates a platoon) If the Seperatist droid army could double in size within a month, (Replicates another platoon) how quickly could the Trade Federation Droid army double in size (Replicates another platoon).

The thing about Star Trek replicators is, you never see them making anything more complicated than food items and clothes. I actually doubt they could be used to make something as complicated as war droids.

Now, if the Ferangi were to sell them transporter technology, on the other hand... hoo boy. Why fight Jedi, when you can just beam them a few miles into the atmosphere and take bets on how many times they bounce?

Edit: I will get back to my story once I dig out all the notes and return from my four day vacation from... vacation. God unemployment rocks.

Actually its a known and canon fact that weapons can be manufactured with replicators (The TR-113 Rifle which featured in Deep Space Nine only exists as a replicator pattern, until you ask a replicator to make you one).

Many parts for ships are replicated, the only thing that is impossible for a ferengi replicator to make is latinum, hence its use as currency.

Ah yes, I forgot about that episode. It has been a long time since I have paid attention to Star Trek, so my memory of that universe is rusty.
