    multiplayer?

    Mines busy from WoT as well, but I might have an occasional game as well.
  2. Bump. I've updated the OP with a better version of Gateway. The second system has more resources than the home one (inc TWO ecus and a ton of metal and crystal), while the home one is mainly comets and asteroids (a balance of crystal and metal for the AI).
  3. Heheheh, yeah, about that... Played a game with Chim and the AI chokes with all the metal and no crystal they earn. I'll need to tweak them a lot first.
  4. I really do miss the original maps, and it'd be nice to include them. After finding out what's different between the original and the custom maps, ive started converting them into SoGE style ones. They don't include the planets of SoGE like ecus, pangeas, etc just yet. Im doing one at a time, changing some planets into their SoGE equivelants. The amount of resources in them seems a bit nutty as well- but that just makes for some huge ass battles and a very dangerous AI.   5. Torpedo Volley has no req in the desc, but needs a tech. The NR 6 level reduce tech thingy has 'the Alliance' instead of the 'NR' in it.

    Twas a little OP... Though the autocasting of said kamikaze could do with some tweaking, it's basically a manual tech. I just tried sending a boat load of core ships hoping to see some mass auto-destruction but it just didn't happen. most of the time they don't reach their target before dying. I kind of want to try maxing out logistics with self-destructing core ships now. I usually just send them in against militia or caps, enough to kill the shields. do it manually for now. Against larger fleets, send in your main fleet first to draw their fire then pull out the core ships. Early game, just use the patrol frigates with a few cores to kill off large dreadnaught infestations.

  9. The New Order tech is not in the tree, can't research it or any that require it. The Heavy Ion Cannons ability for the cruisers that are made in the Cap Factory (Vic II, Imperial II are two I know of) for the Empire don't require the Heavy Ion Cannon tech to work, but those on the actual Caps that can acquire them, do. Also, there's one tune in the music line up that sounds more like an Elder Scrolls Daggerfall tune than a SW one.
  10. Oh, uh, we ended up moving to coldfront.net, after sheen.id.au had a few issues connecting. I asked Lavo to suggest one, he suggested it. I hopped on the one you linked- it was basically deserted. On the subject of the wiki, the templates reflect the new ordering. And the Ship Types page should answer Qs on what each build page is about.
  11. I just mentioned thye Mk. 1 again because i did so in a different post, and you mentioned it was a bug and would remove the non-capital version. I'm running the latest- so i probably misread the card. And i'm not entirely sure why i mentioned the Mk. 2... If both Mk. 1s exist, what reason would there be to get the frigate menu one? Especially if both have the same cost. Might be easier- and less confusing- to just have the cap ship one. A Rebellion exclusive benefit, can't hurt. Just an idea- or does the AI require a bombing frigate? Im going to shut up now.
  12. Noticed that there are two Assault FRG Mk.1's in the Alliance menu, one in the frigate menu and one in the Capital menu. Theres also the Mk. 2 in the Cruiser menu. Same stats apply to both, only one has a reduced cost.
  13. The SoGE wiki? *whistles innocently* That was the only emblem i could find after 10 minutes of hunting. Its on the wookieepedia page as an 'unknown Yuuzhan glyph'. But it's the only one i found, so i suppose it's better than nothing.
  14. Yep, but only names. I need to update the cruiser/frigate templates anyway, before i start adding stats. Some kind soul added all the Republic ones though. And I need to point out that about half of the 'Capital ships' are techinicay cruisers. Lavo made them Caps to be more balanced.
  15. Sith Space Defence/Invasion (same map, dif spawns it looks like). With your enemy only two phase jumps away, you can choose to make a swift grab for the homeworld or chase the looping belt of planets that goes in the opposite direction. Both ways lead to the enemy homeworld- but be careful, your homeworld may become the front lines. The invading force gains access to a defensible bounty to their rear, but exploiting it may lead to defeat, while the defenders (with their homeworld at Korriban) have no such bounty. Defend or attack- the choice is all yours...
