  1. Version 1.2

    1 download

The Decepticons, led by the evil Megatron control Cybertron. The Autobots, led by the benevolent Optimus Prime, enjoy a peaceful co-existence with the people of Earth. The Great Battle of 2005 at Autobot City on Earth has concluded with no clear winner, leaving both Autobot and Decepticon forces decimated, costing many lives. Do you have what it takes to lead your faction from vastly depleted resources, recruit allies, raise an army and navy and lead them to total victory? Author: Dragoon09
  2. What is a good program to access something like that? I have limited coding experience and the programs I've been using so far are RebEd and ResHack. I am on the Discord, I'll see if TruthRealm has better info on where that data might be located. Thanks!
  3. So I'm working on my mod, I want to start with only unit type available. No problem doing this via RebEd. The problem comes in when the game starts and still uses the original values of what is available and of course places them randomly across controlled planets. For example, if I wanted to only start with Stormtroopers, even though I have set the other 4 troops to requiring research and setting up Coruscant to have only Stormtroopers, I still get Fleet Regiments in random places at the start of the game.
  4. Hi. I have been slowly working on creating a Transformers G1 version of Rebellion. I hope to eventually turn the entire game into a themed reboot, on a scale similar to Reloaded. I am seeking help from any who are interested in helping. So far, I have created all 60 cards, replaced all music, changed about half o fthe voice overs, and a few of the message report backgrounds. At this point, I need help with the message backgrounds, some voice files, and would like to change the color scheme of the respective interfaces. If you are interested in helping, hit me up - either through PM or email Dragoon4290@gmail.com Thanks in advance!
  5. Has anyone checked out some of these new game creators they have out now? I've checked out a few of them, like Unity's Game Creation Engine. These programs seem pretty powerful, I saw one that was on par with SOASE, if not a bit better in terms of graphics. I wonder if there is a way to use one these to maybe reverse engineer SWR. Does this sound plausible? I'm asking because I am not programmer/coder. If not, how difficult would it be to create our own version of rebellion with one of those? We already have access to pics and game sounds, basically everything but the coding right?
  6. I'm running 32 bit Win7 on a toshiba laptop with 2gb ram. I would imagine 64 bit would run just the same if not a wee better as far as performance goes. But the process should still be the same.
  7. I've been reading this thread and wanted to add something I stumbled upon. I am running Win7 on a toshiba laptop with good video and audio drivers. To play Rebellion in Win7 you don't need to install Virtual XP or Virtual Box. Just setup your REBEXE to run in compatibility mode for WinXP SP2 and you will need the dr3dm.dll file (available here on this site) http://www.swrebellion.com/downloads/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=5 Should only take a few minutes. Here's How I did it: 1. Click Start -> Control Panel 2. Click Programs -> Run Programs Made for Previous Versions of Windows 3. After it "detects Issues" you will see a list of installed programs. 4. Select "Not Listed" and click Next 5. Browse to Program Files -> Lucas Arts -> REBEXE.exe 6. It will auto select the proper settings and Windows mode (for me it setup as WinXP SP2) 7. Test the game for a few minutes (use Ctrl + Alt + Del to exit if need be) then hit next 8. Click Save Settings and Your Done. Enjoy! Note: The only issue I've come across is the not being able to skip the intro. But this should still be easily fixed with the EMPSPRITE.dll hack mentioned in other threads. And in all fairness, I don't play out space battles, just sim them and hence would not know if they work well or not. If anyone has other issues, let us know.

  9. My bad. Here is a link to view the jpegs. Prime: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?z3f7bgdjqj58xzc Ultra Magnus: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?0hkywfsrm7658nq I had a slew of others, but lost them in "the great hard drive purge of late Oct 2012".
  10. More Transformers cards... http://www.mediafire.com/?0hkywfsrm7658nq http://www.mediafire.com/?z3f7bgdjqj58xzc
  11. Since the card uploader is not working as I've read, I wanted to share a card I made. Hopefully, when I find some more likable pics I can do other Transformers as well http://www.mediafire.com/i/?hjebf4jw4v3pqqq If you can't see the image click here and download from mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/i/?hjebf4jw4v3pqqq
