  1. As i remember it, any given turreted gunmount on a vessel had the capacity for independent fire. So say, a capital ship would be able to fire at dozens of targets, even though it would inflict lighter damage relatively speaking per gun mount against equivalent tonnage.

  3. Question. Can you limit starbases by star system, in otherwords how many starbases can be constructed in the entire collection of gravity wells in the realm of a given star?
  4. Even the Prototype Death Star was able to destroy the core of a planet, which would require that any planet it was used against be changed to a 'Barren' type like what Sins Plus has. This would be because without the core, there would be no magnetic field, and so the atmosphere would quickly be burnt off and the surface irradiated. By the way, another ship which could never be in Sins. Sun Crusher.

I know of a few mods which would do well with SoGE; Sins Plus - always a good idea Dynamic Battle System (From the Last Stand mod) - Cause it is really cool, makes certain ships fight like fighters Celestial Bodies mod - multiple planet sizes as well as more star types RealCapitalShips - Cause capital ships need more power Some mods have features which would be neat to replicate; Distant Stars - Many more tech levels, and more capital ships Mad Scientist - More tech levels, more capital ships, and also tech trees to increase weapon rates of fire The various engine upgrade mods are also good, like Gurkoz sound mod and the Volumetric effects mod. I cant remember if SoGE has these already or not, but even if not these are available as stand-alones which can be integrated additionally by the game.
  8. I tried to use it, but after editing from the template, it was the only thing i saw. If i went and clicked on an entry for some other ship, i still only saw what i had written in the template. Now i cant be sure if i wrecked the template or somehow overwrote everything or what. not user friendly. Look up the Esseles Class Space Station if you can, that is what i tried to add.
  9. Does this mean you dont have descriptions of the ships? I can help with some of them if that is the case. I got a book titled "The Ultimate Guide to Vehicles and Vessels", which was published in 1996 by Lucasfilms Ltd

    Bug thread?

    Need a stickied bug thread btw. Anyway, the bug i would like to report is that 'Cluster Munitions' on the Victory 1 class Star Destroyer, available to both the Empire and the Republic, is unable to be acquired through promotion. If said star destroyer has a promotion point available and it is spent on 'Cluster Munitions', that point will be wasted, and not be reacquired. I would imagine that this would cause AI problems, and probably lead to them having capital ships with 10 levels and no powers.
