  1. Right, so I couldn't help but notice that the relative strength of frigates and cruisers is fairly pathetic, for the most part. Was this intended? I'm well aware that SW capital ship balance scales toward the heavier side, ie 1 Mandator = 1,000 Munificents, but from a gameplay standpoint this doesn't translate too well, with frigates doing 1 damage per shot.
  2. 1.05 won't do it. You need to get the latest patch (probably via Impulse, since the Stardock downloader doesn't have 1.1).
  3. You're correct about the colonization command, but there is no crew extractor function (used to takeover asteroids and such on non-colonizable worlds) on any ship in the mod.
  4. When every other station in the game is oriented 'up', the golan's positioning stands out rather prominently. In 'reality', it should be able to maneuver any way it needs to in order to engage hostiles, but the decision to have it looking effectively sideways does seem rather odd. That said, will the future versions feature cheaper, weaker defense platforms as well as the heaviest guns? It'd be rather nice, seeing as how you're just as well served buying an ISD II now as you are a Golan.
  5. I would suggest getting rid of the Acclamator II moving the DP-20 to the Rebels (may already be planned) and replacing it with the VSD I or II, thus freeing up a 'capital ship' slot for the Executor.
  6. It still requires the obliteration of all life on a planet before you can 'invade' (read: 'colonize'), unless I've missed something significant. Nevermind.
  7. Right, as it is, there's no option for planetary assaults (the storming of a planet and capturing with infrastructure mostly intact); the only way to conquer a planet is to bomb it out of existence, then colonize. Since this seems a mite silly in the realm of Star Wars--base delta zeros were used, but not on every single planet--, I was wondering if there might be a way to implement an alternative method of planetary capture.
  8. Love it. My only complaint is that the ISD Mk II seems... extremely unbalanced. (And that the Venator is labeled incorrectly). Otherwise, it's fantastic.
  9. Best of luck to you gents. Frankly, I bought Sins on the hopes of a Warlords conversion for it, so I'm looking forward to it. And, yeah, it's a pity that Freelancer seems to be dying out. Tides of War never really had a massive following, but I'd have liked to see at least a few more months of the battles we used to have there.
