  1. Tried to run the mod the path is fine and all but the point at which I click on enable mod the system freezes up and runs a minidump. The core game itself works, beyond having version 1.05 are there any other requirements for running the mod?

  4. Quick question: couldn't tell from teh new pics of the Venators, but are articulated turrets possible with the SoaSE engine?

  6. Was flipping through a PC Gamer before work, took a look at the RTS editorial by Dan Stapleton. The article was about modding SoaSE, turns out Stapleton can't wait to see what you come up with.

  8. Sorry for the semi-necro post, but I just happened on this drawing of a Nebula destroyer from the "Starships of the Galaxy" source book. Glad they didn't use the CTD design.   9. The fighter reminds me of the Kilrathi fighters from the Wing Commander series... God I miss those games.

  12. If 9's the limit, what would your choices be for a post-ROTJ setup?

A question about the GUI Evile, I noticed when building frigates/cruisers/cap ships that there's a limit of 9 choices for each class of anything (buildings as well). considering the Warlord's extensive build list, is it still possible to have that massive choice or do you need to cull the herd?

  15. I played the beta for Sins, and frankly I wasn't too impressed, it was mostly an issue of weapon effects, sounds, and design. Though I have to say the whole planet to planet style of fighting reminded me of EaW and Rebellion. I remember thinking: this would be great with Warlords.... leave it to Evile to make it a reality! I found the whole "gravity well" idea interesting, would it make for more effective interdictors?
