  1. Hye Lavo, any way that I would be able to mod it myself and if so how does one do that, or is it just not possible.
  2. Hi, First let me say this mod is freaking awesome. I have played about 7 different campaigns as the 4 core races (no Vong or CIS). My question is for the 4 other races I noticed for example in the Empire the SD 2 C and the Tector have abilities you can level up. But for the ISD 1 and 2 there abilities are locked, is there a way to unlock them so they can go to level 3 each? My reason is, I just dont find much use on the cap ships where I cant upgrade the abilities on as I dont get the same attachment as I do with something like say an Tector. Just want to be able to upgrade all ships if possible. Just not sure how to mod it to do it if its even possible.
  3. Ok but do you find them very useful when say targetting a squadron of X-Wings, I mean do the missles have any chance of finding their targets? It just seems like it would be better to go with another Vic then a broadside at least it gets Tie Bombers.
  4. I have been playing EAW since it came out and am still having trouble finding a use for these units. I mainly play as the Empire in campaign (never play multiplayer) and I usually have 1-2 in my fleet but I can't tell if they actually do any good at all. The missiles seem to slow to hit fighters, too inaccurate to hit a ship and I even use barrage on the space station and does minimal damage. My question is are they even worth the cap hit or is it better to just go with VSD and ISD's. And what are some helpful tips if you do use them.
  5. I agree, if any Tartan gets in range of a Neb-B it is toast. However if a Corvette or Gunship gets in range of an Acclamator or Vic they are fine. It takes a tremendous amount of resources to target these ships in order to pound them into submission. I thought Acc and Vic's were strong against them but they are way to inaccurate, whereas it seems the Neb-B rarely misses. All I do now is focus on the big ships and try to use my Tartans to chase after the Corvettes and Gunships with a masses Tie fighter screen to act as an extra shield.
  6. I was wondering if anyone could work up a Mod where it allows ALL Capital Ships to use the 3 types of special abilities (Power to Engines, Shields, Firepower). Each ship has the ability to toggle which ability to boost and it would be tactically important which one a ship uses in battle. Now I am not saying when an ISD boosts engines it moves as fast as a Corvette, but perhaps a similar % increase in speed boost to turn around and then fire off a broadside....what does everyone think???
