  1. XD! Zeus was Dionysus's father... But I dunno about the last post there... As soon as I couldn't find any logical explanation for Hyperdrive... I gave up looking for Science in SW
  2. XD I did a school paper four years ago on Dionysus(The greek god of wine and parties) and I still remember he had a similar case...
  3. I dunno... It goes against a lot, but prophecies are just people who claim to have had a vision of the future, or insight from the gods. So prophecies are made by crackpots... But movies aren't made that way...
  4. I've always ignored the prophecy, making my own twist of the SW Universe saying that the Force is always in balance... but that's just me. But because I feel like it, I'm going to explain. I think there was no "Chosen One" or one that was supposed to have brought balance to the Force. Instead, no matter what happens, niether side can be wiped out completely, and won't be gone long. Both sides are always at the same potential strength. So, when Luke was the only remaining Jedi, he needed enough power to balance against the other two. So he had the potential to get it, and through the movies found it... saying that either means that his actions led to the death of Palpatine or that he found added strength in his father... either way. But that makes the Force almost seem sentient, almost like a god throwing elements together and enjoying the show.
  5. Yeah! That little... 'adventure' was great. But not really that it wasn't done before... "These aren't the droids your looking for. He is free to go about his business. Move along." Except then it was really big bugs in a big white exoskeleton. Side-Note: Ganner becomes cool? I've read up untill the end of Jedi Eclipse. Ganner has had his defeat that he claims has made a new Ganner...but I still don't like him. Maybe it's just me.
  6. That's exactly what we did I was hoping for specifics
  7. Damn! I hate that..I ignore a thread untill I'm really bored..back read most the pages and realise I had a lot of opinion on most of the topics...expecially the Balance of the Force argument on like...the 3rd page. Oh well.
  8. ..sorry to say it, but I think everyone has heard enough about how evil LucasArts is being with this...and anyone who hasn't just needs to back read and they can get their fill. Lessons learned from backreading 4 pages of this thread: 1)Don't complain! It's out when it's out. If you can't wait, don't. 2)No features can be added or removed from the game! So don't suggest it! Hmm. Strange...I remember being annoyed for more reasons.. A question though. What are you guys doing with the Trip to Dagobah and Solo's bounty in Rebellion? You obviously can't get rid of them, you just have to change it...
  9. I usually keep my ships together early in the game so it's harder for the Rebels to stand up to them and take them out, fleet by fleet. The problem with that though, is a big juicy sabotage target.
  10. I really don't find the Rebels easier. I guess I just don't have the patience to look at the big picture aside from the small victories. e.g. Using Luke, Han, Chewbacca and Maw'Shiye(sp?) to sabotage most structures on their main shipyard world works towards the big picture while cutting off a Rebel fleet, while using Interdictor cruisers to pin them down and crushing their capital ships untill that Tarkin wannabe voice tells you the Empire is victorious is a lot more satisfying.
  11. lol. I think that quote was Tycho Celchu. Really, it had to be Stackpole because the X-Wing series are the only ones that really go into the pilots lives beyond the ejector seat. Anyways back on topic. The lack of strategy might be what's standing in the way of a NJO TC. The computer says that shields resist torpedoes. In NJO though, Dovin Basals resist lasers more than Torps. Or maybe it's just because Yuuzhan Vong takes up more letters than Empire or Rebellion. lol.
  12. Yeah. I always wished there were ways I could get Wedge Antilles into an X-Wing and make him into the Invincable Pilot. I think it was in one of Stackpole's books someone said to Wedge something like: "Do you know how many Imperial Pilots can't sleep knowing you're out there?"
  13. Thanks. It is. What about command positions. Like I said, I have Jaina with commander. I didn't give any to Jacen and I plan on giving Anakin General.
  14. I am working on a Jaina, Jacen and probably Anakin Solo card. I have Jaina's pictures done, but I don't know the stats. I haven't read much on her, and what I know doesn't help me much. She's a mechanical genius. That in no way tells me what kind of diplomat she is. She becomes a pilot. In Rebellion, that would help her as much as it helped Antilles. It only helped him appear in the game. He still had wimp stats. Anyways, I will be at the same loss with the other too as well. Maybe these weren't the best options for my first cards... I ended up giving her ship research of Antilles equivelant, no diplomacy with 30 variance, 80 espionage with 30 variance, 70 combat with 30 variance and 80 leadership with 20 variance. She can only be a commander though.

    Daala card

Actually, that pic wouldn't be that bad for Rebellion. The game has such low resolution, that picture isn't bad. Mostly, it's the colour that is the worst thing to mess up.
