  1. Canada losing to the Swiss and Finland 2-0 both games. Ouch, ya that's a real kick in the rearend alright. Seems to have woken them up a bit though, last I heard it was 2-0 for Canada over the Czechs. On a really good note though not too much of a surprise the Canadian womens' hockey team won gold. Yay.
  2. I found this part quite humorous, but then that could also be a lack of sleep making it seem so. Girls are crazy ...for Dr. Tran. Girls are grody!
  3. 1 Norway 1 6 6 13 2 Germany 5 4 2 11 3 Russia 5 2 4 11 4 Canada 2 4 5 11 5 United States 6 3 1 10 6 Austria 3 2 1 6 Wow, even though I don't really watch the Olympics except to see how my country is doing, it's nice to see us doing so well. I also remember reading that our goal is to finish in the top 3. So far so good. Go Canada.
  4. I think I might know your problem. Are you trying to run the program through the start menu? If you are the installation doesn't put the executable shortcut there. You need to go into the rebed folder found in the program files folder on your hard drive(or wherever you installed it). The exe is in there.
  5. Good job Mad. Scath that was freekin' hilarious. As for Tofu's riddle I was thinking aloe vera, but then I don't think that's an herb.
  6. Not quite right Mad, but on the right trail.
  7. The answer to the riddle is in the riddle. As for that elephant joke, I heard that on an episode of Sincities the other night. There was one other bad joke but I couldn't remember it. Thanks. I thought it was quite neat.
  8. You're right BS, that was an easy one. How about this one? Forward I am heavy, but backward I am not. What am I?
  9. Good joke Mitth. I finally figured out why the answer was five to Scatane's riddle. And the sad part is I seem to recall hearing that type of riddle before, but had forgotten how to solve it. Here's a dumb joke: What do elephants use for tampons? Sheep. How about this riddle? A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
  10. Okay here's a couple told to me by a co-worker. How do you know when it's bedtime at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch? When the big hand touches the little hand. What does Jeffrey Dahmer call a bus full of people? Meals on Wheels. And here's one I remember from childhood: What's green and flies over Germany? Snotzies. Ya that's bad, but those are the only ones I can remember.
  11. Here's one that a customer told to a co-worker, who in turn told it to me. If you have kids you would understand completely. What's the difference between broccoli and snot? Kids don't eat broccoli.
  12. DarthTofu, I also have a dell 8400 with the same video card (and 1GB of ram). As this system is just a year and a few months old I don't believe we'll have any troubles playing the demo or the game on this system. This game will be my first game purchase in the new year.

  14. I started off with the Itellivision(which my parents bought and my sister has in a box somewhere in her house.). -Brings back fond memories and what got me addicted to video games. Especially Dungeons & Dragons. Have the sound turned way up and when you came across a dragon the sound made you crap your pants. - Next was the Commodore 64 (Parents bought it and I have in a box under my stairs.) -NES (Still have) -Sega Genesis (still have) -SNES (Still have) -Panasonic 3DO (Still have and the only system I bought because of 1 game that I really wanted(Star Control 2). Looking back now that was a waste of money, I should've waited until it was cheap, but then again the version that came after the original iirc couldn't save games on the machine, or at least not as much. -Original Playstation which crapped out, got a refurbished one which only plays some of the games I have and then a PS1 which plays all the games I have. -Then I reentered the computer age in 2000 with a PC.(Now it's the kids computer) -And then bought a new computer just over a year ago. Also my house has seen an N64 which was traded for a Gamecube and then for a PS2 and then into an Xbox.(All of which was/is owned and done by my step-son)
  15. The link is still there. After you click on it scroll down and click 'free' at the bottom of the next page. At the bottom of the next page a timer will count down and when it's done click download and there you go. As GAT said this 'sneak peek' doesn't show much more than what's already been seen and what hasn't been seen doesn't spoil it either. Everything happens quickly and without dialogue you don't really know what's going on. Besides by the time I get around to seeing the movie I will have forgotten most of what I've seen.
