  1. Well hopefully the son-to-be relleased modding tool will allow for the addition of SSD's, B-wings, and which I think is a big oversight... Luke as a plaable ground character - Lightsaber and Thermal Detonators should be his specials...
  2. Is that Zaarin reinforcement bug fixed in 5.0 as well...? Other than that I must say a fabulous job of Modding Cain... any other Demo mod you recommend or is the Zaarin mod the best of the demo bunch (which really wouldn't surprise me)?
  3. hmmm.... no change... ok let's check this step by step... the folders I now have in my EAWdemo/Gamedata/data are as follows... Audio , Text , Warlord Expantion Mod (from the extracted 4.0 winzip) , and (the freshly copied XML mod folder along with the assorted files and docs that come with the original demo... I aprreicaite the help again Cain...
  4. Ok I must have missed something in installing the Mod because I have extracted the files from ver. 4.0 to EAWdemo/Gamedata/Data folder but when I go to run the game the demo does not pick up the Mod at all... I still only have the original demo options how to I know if the Mod has been installed correctly?
  5. Do we need to download each version seperately of is everything we need included in 4.0?
  6. So is the latest edition of the TC up here on this website or somewhere else?
  7. Bottom line: awesome TC... Now if we can just get that patch set up here...
  8. I got Protectorate up and running and I deffinately like what I see... I started with the rebels ('cause I am a rebels type of guy...) and I liked how the Empire started out with a fairly decent size fleet + SSD haulin' ass at Hoth... The look of the Galaxy threw me of a bit but was deffinately a nice surprise. I loved how the earlier rebel warships were at least somewhat comperable to their Imperial counterparts... Absoulutely adore that Millenium Imperium... The changes in the fighters were ok too... I was a tad bit surprised to see Ozzle on my side and frankly I didn't really trust him so I've pretty much kept him on a low risk planet... See Luke come back with a Darth Vader Helmet and an Imperial Uniform was a bit of a switch... Oh and what is up with those Spy missions for the rebellion? Thought it was kool 1st time around but got a little annoying faily soon after... But overall this is an Outstanding TC... deffinate thumbs up here... You also said you had a patch to this game? What does the patch do? Bug fixes, AI improvements?
  9. better AI make it a total convertion? What are the main differences? Different/more ships? more characters? more buildings/defenses? Are the starting positions different? These are the things I need to know.....
  10. I'm looking for a total convertion for maybe giving me a new challenge in Rebellion... But I'm wondering which one is the best? The descriptions for the TCs here are not exactly specific... plz advised...
  11. Few of my ideas... 1. Star Wars: Blowing Shit Up... 2. Grand Theft Snubfighter: Coruscant 3. Sims in Space 4. Imps and Rebels 5. Star Wars: Windows 6. Star Wars: Surpreme Commander 7. Spaceballs: The RTS Game thats all I got for now...
  12. 37 dead, 700+ wounded by a bunch of pussies with little conscience, no brains, and even smaller balls... I sincerly hope Scotland Yard crack these bastards quick and hard... I don't think we have to worry about Londoners, they are an extremely tough and resiliant lot... London has been through the Blitz (In my opinion was one of the most amazing and couragous acts of resiliancy and difiance in World History), and at least 2 decades of IRA bombings. Its gonna take a hell of alot more than this to bring down London and thats a fact! Hope all of our London faithful have made it through unharmed and wish you guys Godspeed...
  13. Language I like. "On the Moon, we have advanced beyond all rules and manners" -Ignignot
  14. One thing about Rebellion which always had a strong appeal to me was that whenever you started a new game, your intial set-up, no matter which side you choose, was always different for every game. You could start off in a fairly good starting position, or you could find yourself in an almost severe disadvantage... I think that element should be included in Reb2, GaW, and even EaW if any of you Comand and Conquer guys are watching...
  15. I think I still would buy Empire at War regardless of wether we managed to get the source code or not... Besides from the early previews, it sounds like EaW is gonna take several themes from Rebellion and incorporate them into EaW...
