Do you use any decoy? I actually remember one of my first games when indeed Han blew up an ISD over Coruscant in the very first days. Struck my opponent hard - but I thought it was pure luck. Are you suggesting that Han can do the trick more often? Wow, I can't believe so many people here don't know some of the basic rules of the game. Every time a character successfully concludes a mission, their stat that applies to that mission goes up one point. So if you send someone on a lot of sabotage and espionage missions, they become nearly unstoppable. It's even better to send a Jedi or Dark Jedi, because every time they FAIL, their force points goes up by one (which in the end increases their stats pretty dramatically). And Luke is practically a god. Every time he fails and Darth Vader or Emperor Palpatine are present, he gains two force points. Plus, I don't think he CAN succeed if either of them are present at the planet; they always end up fighting. So if you've got Luke in orbit, you can just send him down for some intense jedi training on the surface. Make sure to have a nearby planet taken over though, because it's been so long since I've played that I don't remember whether Luke will return to the ships in orbit if he fails or if he'll go to the nearest system. Anyway, when you try to do sabotages, try to abduct or assassinate all the people in command positions first; they improve the detection rating for all that they command. Then sabotage the units in descending order of detection rating. Then sabotage the defensive facilities.
