  1. ... Goddamnit, Cartman ... I've tried it all now... but just as I would expect from any loyal imperial droid - IMP-22 just doesn't shut the f... up
  2. I fully understand you - XP was and IS a great OS. Vista was a real mess... 7 (which I couldn't avoid with new machines) is rather good. I would even give it two thumbs up - if there wasn't this nagging insecurity about Rebellion running or not... Funny how a 15 year old game can make one tick
  3. So... the first try failed... I found the wavs and deleted them... but then ResHacker told me that it's unable to safe the new file... I don't see why but right now I am unfortunately also running out of time. Won't be online much tomorrow but any help is very much appreciated!
  4. Tex You're still around, that's great! No, no *big* travelling plans this year. I am still enjoying the memories I've got from the trip to the lone star state (and others to the West). Actually, I am waiting for summer to begin so I can wear my "Texas"-shirt once again I found the tip you are mentioning... I'll try it within the next days. He is talking about 'replacing', you say 'deleting' would just be fine? Did you try it yourself?
  5. I just installed the big R on Win7 32 bit on a Samsung netbook N150. It seems to work fine with one annoying execption: I cannot skip the intro where IMP-22 (yeah, I usually play *that* side talks and talks and talks. And I've heard that more than often enough... Anyone with a solution to that problem?
  6. Is there any way to play Rebellion in a single window contrary to full screen mode? I need to have an eye on my mails (and therefore the icon tray) which prevents me from playing much more often Anyone?
  7. Yeah, I have been using an iso and a virtual drive for years now. Works perfectly However - I am trying to do the same with Battlefront II and Empire at War at the moment - and it's hell... Both seem to dislike the idea of being run on a virtual drive I would be very glad if anyone of you had any suggestion how to fix that.
  8. Yeah, I did StumbleUpon is one of the few reasons for me to use Firefox instead of the great Opera
  9. Take a look at this: http://www.stumbleupon.com/mainpics/2574712.jpg
  10. Check this site: http://www.r2d2translator.com/ Not only can you have your text translated into Astromech-language - you can download it and e.g. use it as a ringtone. And believe me: I had some sounds extracted from Rebellion (thanks again DarthTex!) and always get envy looks when my cellphone informs me that "one of our agents is reporting in!" when I get a text message
  11. I don't know about A120, I am using 'Virtual CloneDrive' which you can find on the net. My ISO is 518 MB and you should be able to squeeze that somewhere on the HD
  12. I don't get your problem... I made in ISO of my CD and run it with a freeware virtual cd tool. Works perfectly and I hardly ever see my cd anymore So, if you really have that original cd imho that's by far the best thing to do.
  13. Well, it's not from a movie but still (and after all these years) one of my absolutely favorite 'explanations'... Do the words "Bobby Ewing's dream" ring a bell...?
  14. Oh, this is cool, I didn't know this was possible. But: I'd need a windows exactly double the size of what this gives me now. How do I get that? (It seems, the window is of a fixed size and cannot be just pulled bigger like the ususal Windows-window...)
  15. Thank you, guys! Another question (I don't want to open another thread just for that one): What do you use Palpatine for? I mean - I let him do all the recruiting and then let him sit on Coruscant to have the 'Seat of Power'-bonus. But I am starting to rethink that tactic. What would you suggest Palpi could do other than that?
