  1. Okay, after some playing around, I've found the problem with the planet names: it's only because of the TC Card; when I first run the setup but have yet to run the TC, the names are changed to the way that the mod suggests they should be. However, once I use RebEd to load the card, the sectors remain changed, but not the planets. So, it's a simple matter of running RebEd BEFORE running the .EXE file for Reloaded. However, if you use the method mentioned above, all the encyclopedia entries will revert to their default values. EDIT: I'm going to be going through the encyclopedia entries one by one; would you want me to proof read them, or would that be too nitpicky?
  2. First of all, let me start by saying the changes I've seen so far are awesome. The feeling of taking place shortly after the Battle of Coruscant is awesome, and there are many faces I immediately recognized. However, there are a couple of bugs/flaws which I've already found within the first 24 hours of playing: 1) None of the planet names are changed. Wayland still appears as "Coruscant", Coruscant still appears as Yavin IV, etc. (Kashyyyk is in the Core Systems! Who knew? ) 2) There are four Imps that have a 0% chance of being a jedi, yet only three Reps. I suggest removing Force probablity from an additional character for this purpose. 3) Eclipse Class Star Dreadnoughts, while fearsome, do NOT have the ability to destroy a planet. I know there are many fan arguments against such, but official canon clearly states that they are incapable of doing such. In its place, you could always use the Tarkin superlaser in its place. 4) Putting the ship stats in their respective encyclopedia entries would really help out; it's rather difficult to decide which ship to build when you can't check the stats at a glance. Also, a final note that's really more nitpicking than something that actually needs to be changed: why are there five different MC models? What was wrong with the Dauntless and the Bulwark?

  4. Be careful with that tactic. I've built up fleets that were capable of knocking out 8 GenCoreII's in one bombardment. I tested that by assaulting an enemy system, and filling its energy slots w/ GenCores. Chances are, if you're taunting them, that badly, you already control most of the galaxy. And besides, it's not like anyone would give away the HQ's loaction in a serious match.
  5. Great way to taunt your foe as the Rebels (only if you're playing standard victory.) First, take Coruscant like normal. Then, scrap everything on the planet except GenCore IIs. Then, build GenCoreIIs for every available energy slot except one. Then, move the HQ to Coruscant, and give away its locating via chat.

  7. Could some one make a card of NK-Necrosis? For some reason, despite my hatered of Greivous, I find Necrosis to be one of the cooler characters in the NJO.
  8. I have plenty of free time and experience dealing with the computer (has anyone EVER seen a computer opponent build a Death Star or perform a Death Star Sabotage mission? I know there's supposed to be a cutscene for it, but I've never been able to watch it...) Regardless, I'd love to help with testing the ships & fighters, or anything else (although, I don't know what else I could help with seeing as I lack art skills... perhaps with the voice acting if you want me to.)
  9. At the same time? 3. However, I've built four in the same game, but two of them were destroyed by X-Wings.
  10. 53 days, but it was pure luck. I was playing Imps, HQ-only, 1P, Small, Novice. I had a VSD that started at Sluis Van and immediately sent it to Yavin. When it arrived, the Rebel HQ was there, completely undefended. I did a couple of Orbital Bombardments, and won. My shortest game that actually required skill was 297... I was playing as the Rebels, and the planet that was under military control was in the Sesswenna sector. After I liberated it, every planet in the sector but Coruscant went to my control, giving me a perfect opportunity to strike. I almost always play HQ only.
  11. If you're talking about Protectorate, I could understand why. I had trouble myself until I realized that several of the files are "hidden files" which you have to specifically tell Explorer that you wish to see them. I've never seen the point in hidden files that you aren't required to use a password to view...
  12. I tried the Protectorate TC, and it was pretty cool, albeit the Luke with a Vader mask bit was a bit corny. But it's not like I could have done better, and over all, the changes were well done, so I'm in no position to complain. I read the news about Rebellion Reloaded, and I can't wait to see that when it's finished (I've been drooling over those screen shots, especially the detail put into the Super Star Destroyer). Also, I read about a "Before the Storm" TC, but I can't find it in your downloads section. Is that one also incomplete?
  13. Ah, too bad. Well, thanks anyways. Even on it's first day, I've already found a number of uses for RebEd. I'll take your advice and look around, especially at the models.
  14. I found this site via the Hapes Banner Exchange, I was bored this morning. I really like Rebellion/Supremacy, so I decided to try out RebEd, and it is amazing! I'd have payed $40 for that program (if I had $40). Great site! I just have one suggestion: make a patch to make the AI smarter (it's pretty hard to setup a multiplayer match.) Overall, great site, keep it up!
