  1. I want to see better space combate, the big ships opening up with all there weapons. not just watching one laser fly out everynow and then. Make it a real show, make it feel like a Star wars space battle. Also have it that fighters and pound torps into cap ships even with shields up, and with A-wings and such have them be able to fire concusion missiles at fighters as well as cap ships.
  2. Heres how i have them set up in my head. and this is after searching threw mon cal info for years.... Mc 40: The heavyest Gunship SW has ever seen. You look at any other gun ship in SW and you won't find one that has the heavy shields and armor this has. let alone one that carries a squadron of fighters. Dispite its little payload of onboard weapons... the ships isn't soemthnig to take lightly. MC 60: Not sure if they are real "real" or fandom... but i figger these to be missile/torpedo ships. But because the rebels didn't have much in the way of warheads these ships weren't seen much at all. Mc 75: Size of a Mc 60 it houses energy weapons. a inbetween of the Mc 40 and the 80s as it were. Mc 80: the real war ship. These had the redundentcy to take a great deal of punishment. Dispite the ships haveing only 40 to 50 turbo lasers and asorted other weapons ( rebels couldn't standerdise these much. they threw on them what they could. Falls in with the hard to repair part) they could put up a hell of a fight with just about any Star Destroyer. These ships could only max fireing solutions when performing broadside attacks. Mc 80A: A more standardised version of the mc 80. Weapon wise they all had the same load. But they were better place to allow greater fireing solution to the forward. They also held 4 fighter squadrons. ( one more squadron then the mc 80s) Mc 80B: A inbetween to be built till the Mc 90s were ready. These were further standardised then even the 80As. Thow the fire power han't changed the performance of the weapons did. statijectly place so the ship and unload massive damage in to just about any arch of fire. The weapons were able to fire more rapidly and deliver more of a punch. Thow the first few only held 4 squadrons of fighters later versions held up to 8. Mc 90: Your all round true Mon call war ship. These guys are more powerful then even the MK II Star Destroyers and can go head to head with MK IIIs with no problem. These from the start held 8 squadrons of fighters. These will see service in the NR for a long time to come. Mc 100? (Viscount Star Defender): these are the SSDs of the NR. They are said to be more powerful then the empires SSDs but have a lower payload of weapons ( throw great deal more then any other NR war ship) This sujests that the weapons onboard are the most powerful the NR could get ahold of. These ships came to being when the NR finaly realised that the bad guys will always come after them with some sort of super weapon or super ship that could lay waste to full fleets with little more then a fart. These ships were ment to take on those weapons. Thats what i sermise.... want greater detail.... look this stuff up on your own.
  3. with all the new found ways you guys can edit the game.... is there a way you can make it like 24 bit pictures for cards? I'd be makeing a load of them then.

  5. you probaly didn't add the textures right. And if you did add them right then you didn't hit the save. Happened with me. easy to fix.
  6. i'm makeing a mod for Rebellion for a SW sim i'm in. I need some models for it. I'm not sure how many i will need but i need only 2 for now. I need the hapen battle dragon and this pic i'm next up. http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/ling/Crusader.jpg i don't expect the models to be spatacular. i just want them to look the part. Some if anyone can provide these for me please do. thanks for the help.
  7. Is there a detail FAQ somewhere i can download/read to tell me all the latest methods of Editing the game? Like chanceing the DLLs and how i can open and find what i'm looking for in them. how to change the models of ships and fighters?   8. Also i was thinking..... smaller ships start to lose there place when one can start building larger ships. So why not give the smaller ships the abilaty to enter the atmophere of a planet and aid in fighting enemy ground forces? Give more tactical advantage is such cases. The bigger ships can bombard the planet yes but they could blow up somethnig they don't want to. The smaller ones can do the same job just more acceratly. ( i know my spelling sucks.)
  9. i just want to make a coment i read somewhere in this thread. In NJO they can communacate in Hyper space. A pirate or "peace keeper" what ever there called offered a vong to use there comm systems cuz they can comm in hyperspace, or as the vong call it dark space,. And i don't realy remeber anythnig said that they couldn't comm in hyper space during the civil war or the prequils. And other books i have read.
