  1. XP SP3 I tried to open the file to see what was in it. Access denied. What does this file do? It was installed when I installed RebEd. I'm just going to have to get used to using Resource Hacker and SWRDE.
  2. I tried going into safe mode and was able to delete the file. Then I restarted, reinstalled RebEd and tried to open RebEd. It popped up a window with the header "VLC30.dpl" and the message, "Cannot load library" I don't have a clue what is going on.
  3. It keeps telling me I that it can't delete LVC30.dpl in the system32 folder. It keeps saying it is in use and can't be deleted. I have full administrator rights. I've never seen something like this before.
  4. I just tested out SWRDE. As I don't change pictures but do like to make detail changes to the nature of a unit, I think that the final version of the program will be far superior to RebEd.
  5. My Rebed worked until last week. And now it says, "Cannot load library" I tried reinstalling it and it kept saying something about it couldn't delete a file. (I found my disk )
  6. I don't get to play a human opponent for several reasons. So I modded my game heavily. I moved to a new system and instead of loading the original game and modding it, I replaced the DLLs with my modified ones. Now I want to go back and can't find the original disk. All I have is my heavily modded disk. I need the following stuff to put my game back. >_< GOKRES.dll STRATEGY.dll TACTICAL.dll TEXTCOMM.dll TEXTSTRA.dll TEXTTACT.dll All GData files All EData files. If you can help me, please Email me at Imperial.systems@yahoo.com Thanks.
  7. Where I live, Googe still shows unpaved dirt roads where my father's company paved them 6 years ago. Tends to make me think that my little corner of the world isn't very important.
  8. I'm the crazy guy that only talks to a few people, but can shoot dimes off a post at 125yds with any pellet rifle. This has lead several people to believe I am going to kill them. I just like the solitude shooting brings.
  9. Looks like a celebrity line up of main characters from nearly a hundred years of Star Wars time line.
  10. I'm not a computer programmer, but wouldn't it be easy to change turn based play into real time. Just write a line of code to advance the game clock one "day" like Rebellion's does now. Then you could use most of the turn based coding. Just an idea.
  11. Finally got the problem solved. The trick was creating a notepad file and saving it as traceback.sav. Then I ran RebEd and got the error again. I went into the gdata file and a dat file named traceback.sav had been created. I just deleted the one I created and now everything works. Creating the file prompted RebEd to create the correct file. __________________________________________________________ To fight for Justice is Noble To Dominate with Style is Imperial
  12. Found the error code. ***Erreur Critique*** From 'NIL' Sender, at 40F1F87A Exception Class: EFCreateError Message: Cannot create file C;\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Rebellion Reloaded\gdata\traceback.sav L'application va e^tre ferme^e. __________________________________________________________ To fight for Justice is Noble To Dominate with Style is Imperial
  13. I ended up having to upgrade to a newer driver (wtf?) to make Reb.exe run correctly. Woks fine now. Even tactical mode works. I got that problem fixed, but now Rebed crashes every time it tries to access the dll's for rebellion. This Reformat has turned into a nightmare. I still don't have my WiFi card straightened out.
  14. I recently had to Reformat my Computer. I have reinstalled XP and now rebellion will load but freezes at the briefings for both sides. Any Ideas?
  15. Found it. In case anyone else wants to try this, the data to be changed is in the following locations: 773 2153 2177 2309 2313 2341 2342 2345 2346 2373 2377 2405 2406 2406 2409 2410 2437 2441 2469 2470 2473 2474 These locations also can be used to change names for characters and the length of their name.
